What is this? Have I created a new specification? Is this some new scripting language? Am I insane?

Let's take this in order:

  1. What is this?
  2. This is a specification that was created at the end of the twentieth century and updated at the beginning of the twenty-first.
  3. Have I created a new specification?
  4. First of all see the bullet above. Secondly most web developers have used some version of ECMAScript since it was the foundation for JavaScript.
  5. Is this some new scripting language?
  6. Again, see above.
  7. Am I insane?
  8. Quite probably, but this solidifies a specification in my mind, and the fact that I enjoy it speaks volumes.
